Christian converts in ChinaReader comment on item: A Christian Boom Submitted by Mel Thorpe (United States), Nov 26, 2002 at 21:14 China's Christian population is growing at about the rate of about ten thousand new converts a day, so while the government may be virulently anti-religion, the reality among the populace is somewhat at odds with government policy. Christianity is on fire in China today and if it continues to grow, it will have a tremendous impact on Chinese thought, government, every aspect of life. I'm surprised that more is not written about this subject.Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes. Original writing only, please.
