Reader comment on item: A Christian Boom
in response to reader comment: Whether Soul is having any weight,shape/form., What about the Biblical Father God?

Submitted by Servant of Christ (United States), Nov 4, 2007 at 20:44

Dear S_of_Christ,

Please answer me the following questions.

i) Is soul having any weight?

I'll be honest and say I don't know. From what I know the soul transcends the physical realm but I can't really tell you much.

ii) Is soul having any form/shape?

That I don't know.

iii) Similarly Is Biblical God having any form?

God is Spirit so no.

iv) Since God is mentioned as father is he male with male organs?

As stated earlier, God is not male nor female. He is called father because it gives him authority.

v) Suppose Dead Body is cremated whether soul will be in the air or near the Cremation site.

It would go to judgment :D.

vi) If God is not having any physical form why did he wanted rest on the seventh day of Genesis?

Since God is omnipotent, he did not need rest. This 'rest' was merely symbolic for us.

vii) Is God having emotions like Humans? (God was satisfied with his creation on the seventh day.)

Yes.

viii) The Biblical God speaks in the Bible. Does he use his tongue/mouth for the speaking?

He can speak without one apparently.

ix) Or is it just sound coming from unknown source.

The unknown source is from God.

x) What is the loudness of God's voice. Whether it will be heard in the entire universe or only locally.

However he wants it.

xi) Hell fire comprises of Burning Sulphur as per the scripture. Is the fire requires air to sustain to burn infinitely?

This is figurative to understand the intensity of the heat.

xii) Further whether the Hellfire requires raw material (here Sulphur) indefinitely.

As stated earlier, it uses human terms to aid in understanding.

xiii) Is the soul withjout flesh can experience the pain of burning? If so where it will sense the pain or pleasure of heaven. (Our sensory perceptions are ingrained in the brain, when the tissues start destruction the message sent to the brain is expressed as pain. Outside our flesh/brain there is no pain/pleasure.)

The soul is more than the brain. It is our 'self'. And there is a new body as I stated previously.

These may sound stupid questions but you meditate on this questions and a non blind believer can sense the stupidity of Biblical God.

How is it stupid if the matter was never addressed nor relevant?

Regards,

Shri Devi.

God Bless
