Islamic growth?Reader comment on item: A Christian Boom Submitted by LMG (United States), Aug 5, 2003 at 15:31 We've heard so many opinions. Does anybody have facts (like statistics?)1. Was Islam really the fastest growing religion before 9/11/01? If so, which Islamic sect/sects? 2. If so, is it still the fastest growing religion today? 3. What impact, if any, did the events of 9/11/01 have on Islamic growth? Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes. Original writing only, please. Comments are screened and in some cases edited before posting. Reasoned disagreement is welcome but not comments that are scurrilous, off-topic, commercial, disparaging religions, or otherwise inappropriate.
