Reader comment on item: A Christian Boom
in response to reader comment: Christianity is Monotheistic

However, John the Apostle was believed to have been exiled to Patmos by Nero. John of Patmos might very well be the same person as the Apostle. Regardless, Revelation does not differ with the Biblical canon. The books of Daniel, Isaiah, Ezekiel, and the other prophetic books are tied together and in unison. How can you deny this?

Was John the Apostle exiled to Patmos by Nero? No because John of Patmos was exiled by Domitian and it believe to have tooking at the very end of the Domitian reign which is around 95 or 96 AD. Another proof is that the it was not written by John the Apostle is that they use different words for lamb when referring to him (Jesus) — the Gospel uses amnos, Revelation uses arnion.

You fail to grasp the concept of a Trinity. "LORD" and "God" refers to one of the Godhead or all of them. When they say, "There is no one like you, YHWH", they are essentially saying that there is no one like the Godhead. Once more, all three are equally God. They are not gods, but they are God. Genesis says that God said, "Let us make man in our image." See? Plurality. Christianity is not polytheism.

You got proof it refers to one of the Godheads. Anyway why does God make it so difficult to tell us that he is 3 in 1? Those verses I gave you proof that God is one and there is no other God.
