in response to reader comment: For salam and who is really a mushrik?

>> I'm not interested in your knowlege about Judaism, I'm telling you that your Allah's accusation that the Jews regard 3Uzair as the son of God is bogus. Now you feel free to prove that your Allah was right. And let me help you: you cannot. This did not stop al-Zamakhshari from claiming that "certain" Jews, but he never identifies who are really those "certain Jews", regard 3Uzair as the son of God. (see Q9:30) . al-Zamakhshari another wannabe Arab. <<

I don't really understand what you're trying to say, but, if a sect of Jews does worship Ezra, then, yes, they would qualify as Mushriks.

The quote from the Quran which you're referring to is: "The Jews call 'Uzair a son of God (Allah), and the Christians call Jesus the son of God. That is a saying from their mouth; (in this) they but imitate what the unbelievers of old used to say. God's curse be on them: how they are deluded away from the Truth!"

I do not believe that believing someone to be God's son/daughter (as wrong as that is) makes one fall into the category of Mushrikeen by itself.

>> Then you wrote

>However, from what i understand a mushrik is someone who would worship other than God

One word: bogus. If you are correct then why did your Allah accuse the Jews of regarding 3Uzair as the son of God (Q9:30) and therefore they are indeed Mushrikeen (sic) according to your Allah.

Based on Q9:4 and 9:30 your allah is saying that the following are mushrikeen (as if anyone really cares)

1. The Jews. <<

Sorry, but I believe you are incorrect. See my reply above.

>> 2. The christians. <<

I don't think all sects of christianity believe Jesus to be the son of God, though, I may be wrong. Even then, I don't believe that that alone, of itself, makes one a Mushrik.

>> 3. Hindus (your ancestors) and Buddhists. <<

Yes, these would fall into the category of Mushrikeen. Also, Hindus cannot be the ancestors of anyone as that is the label applied to those who follow Hinduism (the religion) -- the correct term, I believe, is 'Indians'.

>> 4. Any Muslim who venerates saints as in the case of Sufis. <<

Yes, I believe that is correct. Any muslim who prays to, or worships, anyone else aside Allah is committing blasphemy.

>> 5. The so called pagans of Mecca. <<

Yes.

>> Then I did notice that you skipped my little foray in the Muslim masora (I doubt that you know what this word really means. But again islam is the religion of the Arabs which you ani't and unless you know Arabic you cannot really understand Islam which you do not know) but this is symptomatic of wannabe Arabs like you. Shame.

Stay tuned for more. <<

Yes. We are all aware by now that you know arabic better than I. And, Islam is not the religion of the arabs.. unless there are, now, over a billion arabs in the world -- and spreading fast.
