Pope and many criticize, But why prove them right?

Reader comment on item: Pope Benedict Criticizes Islam [in Regensburg]

This is making me sick, i'am tired of everytime somebody makes a comment about islam. The media shows muslims in some islamic countries burning and marching blasting whoever says somthing wrong or about islam. Look!! i live in America and have no problem with others voicing their opinion. Muslims need to stop always acting as if someone owe us something. And start setting the example for others to see that these remarks that by the way, the Pope quoted again quoted some late poet or whatever opinion about muslims of that time.

We dont see muslims here in america screaming and marching in the streets, it's a matter of opinion but all the islamic world in the east are doning is showing most and the rest of the world that maybe the pope and others that think of islam that way are right. Coming from a people that through history was oppressed and forced into slavery, looked down upon as less than human. I see somewhat of a trend..meaning its times in the past where many always blamed others for their downfall, not being able to suceed. When in fact the only downfall was themselves.

Somtimes your worst enemy can be yourself. All i can say is that there is a thin line between love and hate. Many muslims love islam so much it takes extreme measure and this is not islam. But nevertheless....the east needs to get it together or the view of the true faith will always be looked upon with doubt.
