The religion of peace ?

Reader comment on item: Pope Benedict Criticizes Islam [in Regensburg]
in response to reader comment: Islam is a religion of peace. Pope has no tolerance for religions

Submitted by V. RAJAGOPALAN (India), Sep 28, 2006 at 08:25

Well Mr. Tariq...

Think of Sind, Armenia,Pakistan, Bangladesh, Beslan, 9/11, 7/7, 7/11, the Caliphs, the Mughals, the out-of-size protests against Mohammed cartoons and recently the hysteria against the Pope's remarks. Who is being intolerant ?

Even if the Pope's very rightful remarks are construed as being "intolerant", well, you must very well understand that this small and the initial "intolerance" is the reaction to the large scale murderous intolerance of Muslims.

Also have the foresight to discern that Islam is sitting on the time bomb of its own destruction. Muslims are doing their level best to make the bomb tick faster.

I, being a kaffir, wish them all the best in the tick-faster venture.
