1) why are non Muslims called infidels when they believe in the one true God?

Non-muslims are called in different names. If they are Christians or Jews and believe in one true God, they are called people of the Book(roughly Taurat-pentateuch, Jabur-Psalms and Injeel-Gospel). The people who don't believe in one true god are called infidels (non-believers). This is just like US republicans calling US democrats as infidels)

Would a guy who does not believe in the Islamic concept of God be happy when he is considered as a Muslim by another Muslim?

2) How would a Muslim pray to Mecca if he were on a space craft orbiting the earth?

First, prayer is not necessary when a Muslim is in travel even within earth. Then the same is true when one travels in spacecraft.

How can you find Mecca if your position is in constant flux.

Your position is in constant flux only when you are in travel. The answer is the same as above.

3) Are Muslims not the true infidels to Christians because they don't believe Jesus was son of God?

No answer. I am not a Christian. To a Muslim, Jesus is just Jesus-the son of Mary(in Arabic Isa ibn Mariam) a prophet just like Abraham-Ibrahim, Moses-Musa, David-Dawood, Solomon-Sulaiman, Muhammad.

My question to others:

How a Muslim living in Arctic area would do fasting in Ramadan month when the fasting month falls in peak winter or peak summer?
What would be the fasting timings?
