Our dear Kareem wrote

>Allah means The God

Wrong. The word Allah means God and not the God.

>it comes from the Arabic word ilah

May be and for this see below.

>in Arbic Al means The to show the oneness of God

Bogus. al- is the definite article in Arabic a language that you do not seem to know. And I still have to find out why do tablighees like you have no idea about what is really a definite article

>al and ilah was joined to from Allah

The word al-Ilah meand The God. Even in Christian Arabic and Judeo-Arabic the word al-Ilah means the God and I'm sure you will agree with me that no sane Jew will tell us that their al-Ilah is Allah, and no sane Christian will tell us that Jesus is Allah.

Now allow me to correct what you wrote:

1. Many Muslims claim that the word Allah is a contraction of the word al-Ilah. But this is bogus as the word Allah means God and not The God.

2. More likely than not the word Allah is a loan word from Syriac where the word God means Alaha or Allaha (Nestorian)

May I suggest that you stick to urdu?
