Dear Ed,

I do not agree with you in anything.

I really think one can learn the reality and culture of one land only by a personal experience, Internet and books are not enough! If one would listen to how the United States is depicted in the Swedish propaganda, one would never visit the USA. I am really surprised educated persons like you have such opinions: since you are engineer, can you build a tower with an engineer who has just read theoretical books and the Internet or you need a well experienced with real problems engineer?

I do not agree also on the fact that many Americans want to go to live to Europe; this is a pure falsity. Statistics show the opposite 110000 researchers/year migrate from Europe to the USA to work there (in Europe they call it "brain migration"), amongst them 30% do not go back. Educated people are not the only one who want to come to the USA, the mass immigration is from the low class people, last year 1 million Mexicans tried to cross the border! You see very well how that the Marxist Mexican society is not the paradise of the political propaganda...

And the secret for this mass flow is that nowadays the life in the USA is the best one can have in the world, since here the State is not a "dictator" that decides life of the citizens, but just a "regulator". I think there is no other country as democratic as the USA are and all the countries you listed can improve since tomorrow their status if they would adopt the American constitution (as Japan did after the WWII, with the result of having a much better quality of life than China).

Another practical example on link between Marxism and Islam: in Italy there are 1.2 children/woman, therefore the Prodi government decided a 350$/month benefit for families with new children. One does not needed Einstein to understand that 350$ are nothing to an Italian, but they are more than a month salary for immigrants; therefore, the result of this Marxist political decision is that Italians will pay more taxes to feed immigrants (inter alia everybody can come to Italy, we do not have borders), who in many cases are islamist integralists (once again we rediscover a tight connection between Marxism and Islam). Should we not remember that 10% children at the schools in north Italy are from immigrants and that amid them there can be a potential 9/11 terrorist?

If Italian wallets are burdened by a 50% taxation aiming at financing mosqees constructions, it is not a trivial correlation, but a something which affect everyday life of the Italians, both because they have 50% less moneyand because they have 100% more risk a terrorist bombs some big city!

Of course, it is upon the indivudal person if Europe or the USA is better. People who aim at the welfare benefits for parasites prefer Europe, people who consider it a privilege to work love the USA!!!

I am talking as a person who lives in the USA, but probably I will be not lucky enought to obtain a green card and I will be sent back to Europe to my greatest sorrow....

Greetings,

Silvio.
