... whose ignorance is showing?

Reader comment on item: Pope Benedict Criticizes Islam [in Regensburg]
in response to reader comment: words of ignorance

Submitted by Michael Kocian (United States), Oct 2, 2006 at 14:56

Lana, after reading your words and those of Adam, and find your unfounded attack most offensive and lacking in perspective. You use a few misplaced facts to attack a person who made sense in this context. He's not trying to write a dictionary piece that provides an exhaustive account of Islam, but merely provding perspective on hypocrisy of Arab Muslims.

If you don't think "Palestine" is predominantly Arab, please get a grip. I put "Palestine" in quotes, because it has never accepted statehood. Also, the Arabs refused this name before Arafat tried to use it to garner unearned sympathy. Truth is that the Ismaelites of today continue the legacy of opposing decent civilization. It is okay for Muslims to lie. Are you a Muslim, or simply a Muslim sympathizer, because you're not being honest in your criticism. That's what Muslims and others who don't follow the true God do to try and get their message out, or stifle those who tell the truth.
