Seeking the true God, means disdaining evil... and Islam is evil

Why blame those who tell the truth? The real blame goes to those whom violently protest the truth. Society becomes backward when the truth is criticized and liars with loud voices try to intimidate to get their way.

By the way, demanding "respect" by threats and violence is the only way Islam can hope to have "respect." No truly God fearing person would respect their founder or his work.
