Reader comment on item: Pope Benedict Criticizes Islam [in Regensburg]

Submitted by J (United States), Oct 24, 2006 at 14:26

It's time that we all face it: (Muslims need this more than we do) . Although there may be some (maybe even, many) moderate sane Muslims, those we know and love force themselves on us and are all crazy fanatics.

Let's face it: What is the course of "negotiation" between one who is unarmed and tolerant with one holding a gun who is crazy and wants to die? Let's get off the nonsense that we can negotiate with the likes of streptococcus.

Let's also face it: Violence and deceit are part and parcel of Islam itself as propounded by its founder as acceptable means by which to maintain himself and his ...cohorts in power - NOTHING ELSE.

Can you imagine the state of mind of a Muslim who from his 3 year old perceptions learns that thinking for himself will bring him death at the hands of his own family? Is it possible that these awarenesses are exactly what what the mullahs fear most?
