Reader comment on item: Pope Benedict Criticizes Islam [in Regensburg]
in response to reader comment: For Fazal Habib and Qur'an E Karim, the 9/11 Atrocity and other sordid matters!

Dear Dhimmi no more,

Greetings.

You have quoted Quranic verses. For any discussion on that, please contact me on my email address fhcurmally@yahoo.com. let me also say I am no Aalim. I will not discuss the Quran-e-Karim here. I am discussing the Holy Father Pope Benedict's speech at Regensberg.

In so far as the 3000 who died screaming, I have said repeatedly that a radical group was responsible for this act ,or so we are told. No case has been lodged against the Al-Qaeda for this act. You can refer to Mary Jo Watson's indictments on Al-Qaeda that were filed in a court in New York. The only one person tried in the 9/11 situation is Zacharriya Moussavi. Please don't for one moment think I am doubting anything here about the 9/11 situation. The Quran-e-Karim had nothing to do with what happened on 9/11. A bunch of radicals did and it is their interpretations of the Quran-e-Karim.

I cannot deny history. But I will only say this much that if you are so fond of quoting from history, then after the capture of Jerusalem in the First crusade, some 60, 000 Muslims, Jews and Christians of other sects were put to the sword screaming also and Jerusalem was plundered. Mahmud Ghaznavi plundered but not to this extent, there are no reports of massacres being committed on civilians by him. If you are aware of reference to mahumd carrying out such acts please let me have them . This will enable me to learn more.

When are we going to leave History behind and look to the future? History has happened. The future is yet to happen and that is where we need to look. My stand is, we can live in peace and with respect and honour if we don't disrespect each other. The second point I have tried to make is Justice an Morality have a metaphysical basis and it seems the West has replaced this basis for justice and morality with Politics. Therefore there are 2 paradigms at work and will clash at some point. I am not the first person to say so and will not hopefully be the last. The Muslims are no longer afraid of being Muslims and have suffered as much as they have and are beginning to say STOP. NO MORE and re-assert themselves in today's world. Orphans of hate are amongst us under the guise of Islama nd we have to show them they belong to the rest of humanity and are not superior or inferior to anyone of us and that their message is a wrong one and they are using terro to spread it. Think on what I have said.

My prayers are for my benefit. They are a form of discipline and to remind me al all times that I must walk with care on this earth, I am a guardian of all that is in it and that there is a power above me who will hold me accountable. This is a promise made to all Muslims and the same status is theirs also.

As for being a Pakistani, you are talking to a very proud Pakistani and have been one for most of my life. I would not change my country for any other. I am also a person, who unlike many, refuses to even let others know their name or nationality and need to hide behind pseudonyms.
