it is almost contrite to regard the islamic reaction as anything other than predictable. if the pope is so wrong for issuing a statement attributed to another centuries before our regressing modernity, then i must assume that islam either has no sense of humor or perspective. islam's reactivity to anything that is perceived as offensive is becoming annoying. these presumed fanatics and the "moderates" they control must not have any faith if it is necessary to enforce it by the sword. tell me, am i not witnessing just this.

and, pope, with the emergence of anti-semitism on your continent, i would suggest you do some feather dusting soon. there exist nothing more than a handful of jews left for the poles to exterminate in the name of your divinity.

i can only imagine the response..................................
