The Pope did not apologize for his remarks against islam

Reader comment on item: Pope Benedict Criticizes Islam [in Regensburg]
in response to reader comment: I PREDICTED THAT ISLAMISTS WOULD BOMB CHURCHES AND POPE WOULD APOLOGIZE

Submitted by Stephen Phillips (United States), Oct 1, 2006 at 14:33

He worded his response to sound like an apology but it wasn't. The same way Bill Clinton did concerning Monica Lewinsky. A lot of people don't understand why the Pope made the remark in the first place. It was a challenge to Islam. The Pope is ready for a final crusade/clash of civilizations. He is a very clever man who knows how to use words to his advantage. The Pope did not back down from Islam and in a couple of years he and the rest of Europe will go on the rampage to destroy Islam. The Pope intended to whip muslims into a frenzy (Which isn't very difficult. All you have to do is drop a hat and they go ballistic about something). Peace as the world knows it is in short supply and and running out. Islam has already started WWIII so I suggest people start dealing with it.
