Michael,

...For someone who claims to know everything about Islam, you really haven't been doing your homework. Muslims DO worship the God of Abraham, Isaac, Moses, Noah, Jesus etc (peace be upon them).

Also, your idea of how the Prophet Muhammed (peace be upon him) wrote the Qur'an himself using extracts from the Bible is just plain absurd. Pretty amazing if he had done so considering he was ILLITERATE! You obviously don't know ANYything about Islam! I'm also intrigued as to what makes you think you qualify to know everything there is to know about Islam. Please enlighten us because I'm sure it's complete and utter bull.

Having converted to Islam after being raised by a Christian father, I know my facts concerning both religions. The difference between you and I is that I wouldn't ever disrespect somebody else's beliefs, regardless of how ridiculous I may find them. I certainly would never disrespect Jesus Christ in the way you have disrespected our Prophet Muhammed (peace be upon them). Islam teaches us of how obedient and wise Christ and Muhammed (peace be upon them) were, both of whom are true examples of how one should lead their life.

I think some lessons in etiquette wouldn't go astray on your part. I, along with many others, do not feel the need to spend my life wasting time by building up a hate campaign against other faiths. If you hate Islam so much, why do you care about it? Why waste your time arguing about it if you're convinced your views are so correct? No matter what you do as an individual, Islam is not going to just disappear. Concentrate on Christianity if it makes you so happy! I just hope one day you will venture to seek the truth behind Islam.

If you are such a strict Catholic, re-read the Bible - never once did Jesus claim he was God! In fact, he used the words "My God and your God" when mentioning God Almighty on numerous occasions. Here's another interesting fact for you: In Aramaic, the language of Biblical texts, Jesus (peace be upon him) called God "Allaha". In Islam, we call him Allah. In Judaism, they call him "Eloha". This is a clear sign that Moses, Jesus and Muhammed (peace be upon them) were all messengers sent down by the one and only, God. So before you accuse Muslims of worshipping anyone else other than the true God, take a look at yourself - you're not worshipping God, you're worshipping a prophet!

Having read what seems to be an endless torrent of abuse you've hurled towards Muslims on this blog, one can only perceive you to be a sad, lonely individual who has simply nothing better to do with his time. I suggest you leave your computer, stop behaving like a hermit, get out of the house and actually speak to some Muslims. I guarantee they'll disprove every single one of your bitter theories.

The fact that you've allowed 9/11 to brainwash you into thinking all Muslims are evil shows just how weak and narrow-minded you are. 99% of Muslims know that such hijackers/terrorists/suicide bombers should not be associated with Islam as they go against the teachings of the Qur'an. And don't give me the whole I-Knew-Islam-Was-Bad-Before-9/11 speech. An obvious lie in a bid to strengthen your argument. We can see straight through that one!

I for one do not understand what you find so terrifying about Islam. We pray to God Almighty 5 times a day in remembrance of his Glory... We fast for a month of the year to remember those who are less fortunate than ourselves... We avoid alcohol to be in control of our actions, and we preserve our chastity until marriage. Exactly what is so "evil"?!

Muslims also believe in Jesus' resurrection (peace be upon him). You claim to be the expert, you should already know this! When he comes, he will break the cross and kill the swine. Only then will stubborn people like yourself believe. All Muslims reading this will be safe in the comfort of knowing that, on the day of judgement, your actions will render you one of the losers, not us. I wouldn't wish this upon my worst enemy, so I can only hope that you will have your heart softened by God's mercy and see the truth and beauty of Islam before it's too late.
