Islam is different from Communism

Though there are some similarities in Islam with Communism like ummah and Allah above all in Islam, proletariate and the State in Communism. Both don't recognize any national boundaries. At the same time there is a bg difference. After all the communists want to live and enjoy a good standard of living on this earth while still alive. Muahhamad's "greatest achievement" was he made his followers love death. While Communism promises better things of life on this earth -- it failed to provide them better life is another matter -- Islam makes no such promises. It does promise them all the good things of life -- houris, rivers of wine, green gardens of paradise -- you name it but only after they die for Allah.

Communism collapsed due to various factors but sadly none of them applies to Islam. A time may come when the Muslims may realize that they had been taken for a ride but I don't see such awakening coming any time soon. With Muslims love for death, it is highly unlikely that external forces will be able to cause any damage to it. The greatest fear to man is death -- Muslims love dying for Allah. They have no fear of the infidels -- what can an infidel do to a Muslim -- kill him and despatch him to paradise?
