Proud Kaffir,

what the heck are you talking about? Muslims do not worship the black stone of mecca... It is said that the black stone came down from paradise, but as any educated muslim knows, it was probably a meteor which landed in biblical times and owing to the thought processes at the time, was attributed as a heavenly gift.

And what on earth are you talking about when you state that anyone with the name Muhammed must be killed?

After logging on to this site over the past few weeks, i am utterly amazed at the lack of understanding among the readership. Views on Islam border, no not border, ARE ignorant in the extreme. It is completely stereotypical of american views on Islam and the rest of the world. Do you seriously think all muslims are the same? do you seriously equate a suicide bomber in Gaza with a muslim living in, say, Manchester UK?

YOU ARE GUILTY OF THE MOST IGNORANT RACISM.

This does EXACTLY what the brainwashing terrorists do, that is, take certain passages from the Koran and hold them up as if they are proof of the backwardness of Islam. Yes there are certain passages that are questionable, but as an educated muslim, i know what is apochryphal and metaphoric unlike you.

Dosn't the Bible contain passages of the utmost violence? And aren't there evangelists out there who LITERALLY believe in the words contained therein?

You talk as if every muslim thinks the same way... leave the US for once and travel round the world. You'll find that we all hold the same hopes and dreams, joys and sorrows. I for one am sick of american parochialism and insularity.

As far as the issue with the Pope is concerned, he was heavily critized here in the UK, not just by muslims but by his own flock for being so stupid in the light of current events, not to distance himself enough from his remarks, Yes, he has every right to say what he did, and many muslims i know ageed with his sentiments, but not in the way they were represented.
