Pope needs to explain to the leader

The pope should put out that he will speak with the one and only leader of Islam and no one else. That should keep this alive for many years while the muslims compete for the position ( There can be only One) highlander quote and the result would be the same 1.2 billion headless muslims seeking the position. win win all around.
