Pope Benedict spoke the truth.

Reader comment on item: Pope Benedict Criticizes Islam [in Regensburg]

Submitted by Adam Eylat (Israel), Sep 30, 2006 at 16:28

I was looking at the disgusting caricature which appeared in the Palestinian newspaper "Al-Risala" on September 18, 2006 depicting th Pope as a Nazi leader and could not help but wonder how much longer are we, the civilized world , going to allow this kind of propaganda.. Anything goes in Arab propaganda... anything but the truth....:

Condemn Israel for its practice of Democracy yet there is no democracy in any Arab country on earth...

Equate Israeli practices to Nazi practices but deny the holocaust in official Arab press...

Condemn Israel's human right practices yet human rights are practically non existent in the Arab world...

Condemn any attack on Arab Character but call the Jews the "disease of the Century".

Declare the rebirth of Israel on some 25% of Palestine "theft" but say nothing about the creation of Jordan on some 75% of Palestine...

Evoke UN resolutions in their favor but not abide by the UN resolution which created modern-day Israel and made it part of the world community of nations.

Now the Pope is being attacked. Islamic leaders protest and claim that Islam is peaceful.

Well... in all my 60 odd years on this good earth, I have never seen a Muslim peace drive, an Arabic march for peace, a public outcry for "no more war". never. I did see a never ending call for Jihad... !!!
