>> Here is Allah giving respite to Satan to do evil. You might argue that no permission was given to spread evil. But god knowing the future and Satan threatening to do it argues for nothing elese.

113:001-002: Say: I seek refuge with the Lord of the Dawn. From the mischief of created things. (How can one save oneself from the mischief God has himself created). <<

No, Satan was not given respite to do evil. He was given permission to tempt those people whom he can (eg: those of weak faith, disbelievers) to do 'evil' and sin.

>> Your fate is written yet it was not pre-decided. Pure Islamic logic like pure self-defence claimed for all the gazwas indulged in by the Muslims. Mr. Salman if your fate is already written down why are you being made to go through with your life on this planet. Can Allah really be serious or is he just having some fun with you. <<

Yes, of course. Anything which you disagree with and do not understand is, quite obviously, 'Islamic logic'. It can't be that you don't understand, it's that the person of faith (any faith) doesn't know what he/she is talking about.

Let me attempt and simplify what I'm saying -- perhaps a more earthly example will help -- Have you ever watched Star Trek? Purely sci-fi show, but it can help here. Ever see an episode where the Enterprise goes into the future or past? Or where someone from the future or past comes to the 'present'? That person may know what will happen on startdate 2894.3283, but that doesn't mean that it *will* happen. A whole host of things can happen to change the outcome.

And before you ask, no, I do not believe time-travel is possible.
