It makes sense that Obama is a Shia Muslim

Reader comment on item: Was Barack Obama a Muslim?
in response to reader comment: Obama a Shiite

I asked the question as to whether Obama's family is Shia or Sunni, not expecting so many others to have asked it before me! It has obviously been kept a deep, dark secret. My thinking is that he has to be Shia, when one looks at his enormous efforts to woo Iran, the greatest sponsor in the world of Shia terrorism. Also looking at his support for the enormous sums of money being sent by Iran to Hamas, for building of the terror tunnels from Gaza into Israel. So today I reckon he is a Shi'ite Muslim. But when I see him bowing and scraping to the Saudi royal family, then I just become confused. Yet his new deal with Iran has infuriated the Saudis, as he must have known it would, and that puts him back in the Shia camp. It will remain a puzzle until he feels free enough to revert to his true self. But whatever he is, the sooner he is no longer POTUS, the better it will be for the democratic west. Difficult to get one's head around the fact that US citizens actually voted him into a position of such huge power.
