in response to reader comment: Obama is a muslim

You keep using the word 'secular' to describe the United States, and the people of the United States. In fact, the United States is not officially a 'secular' nation; the Pilgrims when they landed made a covenent with the Most High God, and dedicated this nation to Him. The founders of this nation were Christians, and the country was founded upon Judeo-Christian values. Polls have shown that a majority of Americans to this day consider themselves Christian. Since Islamic values and beliefs are opposed to Judeo-Christian values and beliefs, I believe every American should be very concerned of any possibility of a Muslim being elected to the White House. Of course we want a President who is intelligent and charismatic, but his religious beliefs and what is in his heart are of the utmost importance.
