Was Barack Obama a Muslim

Reader comment on item: Was Barack Obama a Muslim?

Submitted by Mirza Zahid Baig (Pakistan), Feb 21, 2008 at 06:31

Doest matter, he is Muslim or Christian. If he is good for the world ,specially for America, he should be president of USA. I believe he shall bridge the under standing gap between Muslims and Christians as he has himself witnessed the two religions. All Muslims believe most of things which are in Christianity, except trinity. They believe only in one God and Mohammad as last prophet. they also believe christ is also a prophet .The basic concepts of the Islam define a peaceful society with out terrorism and so do Christianity.
