Well Sully, I guess you missed the word eventually. I didn't mean instantly. There are many reasons for war, ethnic desintegration, economic downturns, empires in decline, the rise of new powers only to name a few but I am suggesting that over time, being exposed to ideas and cultures different from our own changes us all for the better.

To suggest that Obama is an unsuitable presidential candidate merely because he once attended a madrasa (aka school) is a rather provincial attitude, how many generations back does he have to be pure Christian to satisfy the average white Christian American? I suggest experiences outside the U.S. will likely provide him with added insight and depth. The majority of posts have been negative, even verging on derogatory, they certainly do not celebrate diversity in the way citizens of country with a multiethnic population should.
