"Actually, I do not think Islam can write anything,"

Grammatically-speaking, in the English language, that is true, just as a person cannot "insult" a religion any more than a religion can "insult" a person.

What about another language or another religion??

Seems to me, when you have Muslims around the world accusing the Danish of "Insulting Islam," they are personifying it every time they use it as the active subject of a sentence.

Islam and Muhammed are spoken of as if they are both sides of the same coin, not different coins, and even though we in the West tend to distinguish between the message and the messenger, I do not think that is the Islamic way of doing things.

I'll be happy to listen to any rejoinders from those who know more about it than I do.
