missing the point

Reader comment on item: Was Barack Obama a Muslim?
in response to reader comment: hes not muslim

many writing here disputing whether obama is a muslim seem to be missing the main point. you have to look at it from a muslim's view point.

to a muslim the father determines the religion of the child. practicing or not makes no difference in the slightest. if you are born to a muslim father you are a muslim period. that is why the islamic world rejoiced when obama was elected. that is why they refer to him in ALL of their news reports as barack HUSSEIN obama.

his bowing to the saudi arabian king sent several messages that the islamic world picked up on. quadafi of libya has gone on record as saying that obama is a muslim brother and that the muslims of the world should celebrate his election.

we can choose to look at this from our western viewpoint but the religion of islam is a religion of deception and it is considered a good deed to lie in the name and cause of allah if you are lying to the "infidels" they do not look at things as we do - and they are using it to their great advantage now. it is a guerilla warfare effort where they are doing things right under our nose. we don't see it because we choose not to see it or believe it.
