Here is a guy with little experience, an admitted history of drug use and wayward behavior, with a name and background rooted in Islam. The American Idol-ization of this election is the saddest commentary on the state of our Union.

How Americans would even consider such an individual for the most important position in the World at a time of considerable peril from Islamic extremism is shocking.

I pray people come to their senses before it is too late.
