Barack never gave the Muslim Shahada, fasted, made pilgrimmage

Reader comment on item: Was Barack Obama a Muslim?

Submitted by Amir (United States), Jan 28, 2008 at 04:28

The first step to accepting Islam is to give the testimony of faith in front of 2 witnesses. If you are born to muslim parents and you don't pray, go to pilgrimmage, pay zakat, fast, after you give the testimony of faith in front of 2 witnesses, you are not a muslim. Did Barack do any of these at all?
