You claim that Islam is a violent faith, you speak of Koran and Hadith as if you really read and understood them.

Assuming that you have read the whole Holy Koran and most of the Hadith, you would have noticed 10s of times the word MERCY is mentioned. Before muslims receipt any verse in the Holy Koran they say in the name of Allah the ALL MERCYFUL.

Are there any verses in the Koran and Hadith that encourages voilence?

Yes, but at least try to understand When? How? Why? before you say it is a violent religion and just stop there. Jihad is a word that has been often associated by terrorism by westerners like yourselves, thanks to the likes of Bin Laden who claims what he did in Sep11 was under what he beleives as Jihad, which by the way as Muslims we deny totally, as Jihad under no situation dictates that the innocent children to be murder in this terrible way.

If you read about the ethics Muslims are taught in Koraan and Hadith you will have more in depth knowldge and understanding before you pass such judgement that Islam is a Violent Religion. Mind you there are some so called Muslims that are violent and are terrorists, pretty much as you will find some christians and Jews who have similar traits when it comes to committing mass murders and killing the innocent, does that make the Bible and the Toorat violent religions? Look at the blood cheds that took place during the crusades under the name of christianity and Jesus Christ peace be upon him and compare it with the Muslim wars, you will find much less blood cheds took place, why?

Do your research and have the integrity in replying back.
