Was Obama ever a Muslim?

Reader comment on item: Was Barack Obama a Muslim?

He did lie when he said he has never been a Muslim or prayed in a mosque. So since he is misleading the public about this, what else is he misleading us about?

I watched his March, 2007 speech in Selma, Alabama on the day of the historical march led by Martin Luther King. It disturbed me because he spoke as if he thinks he is Martin Luther King and his facts were wrong. He said, "don't tell me I don't have a connection to Selma". And went on to say, if it wasn't for Selma, he wouldn't have been born and if it wasn't for Selma and President Kennedy, his Dad wouldn't have had a chance to come to the US to go to school.

The historical Selma March happened in 1965 and President Kennedy didn't start his presidency until 1961, the year Obama was born. His Dad came to Hawaii in 1959, the year Hawaii became a state.

This is an importatant time for the US. This politician needs to be scrutinized better by the media before America votes in another bad president!
