Stupid republican propaganda. If there was a definition for the ugly American, it would have a picuture of a republican. Republican dogma was reputiated totally with the near distruction of the world economy. Thank god there was some real quality leadership - so abosolutely absent for so many years. Thank god this republican reglious like tripe has been thoroughly debunked as notions of the self absorbed wealthy.

Babies for battleships. Shame. Instead of heathcare, you have war machine with is periodically greased with the blood of young Amercians in the name of American interests. Who's interests? Rebublicans are ultra right bordering on fashicism and your democrat party is really center. Though the democrates were elected by the people the repulicans can't accept that even after their total disregard and neglect in safegarding the national interests. It's really unamerican and dreadful to watch the republican propaganda machine attack the president, when all repulicans should hide their face for the disasterous impacts of policies that often makes the country look socially backwards and very corrupt.

The republican stimulous packaged failed misserably, sorry I meant to say the war for freedom in IRAC. Who's freedom? What freedom? Freedom to be shot in an armed violent country. Shame. Lot's of money for prisions, none for education. Shame. Freedom to die of preventable desease, because heather care is financially punative. Shame. Free to work multiple part time jobs so that an employer can avoid the burden of health care. Shame. Free to work at minimum while quality jobs are moved off shore to China and taxes are are evaded in doing so the taxes that pay for your infrastructure. Shame. How about something so completely telling, the collaspe of major bridges because of neglect and no resources.

Until Americans realize your best defense is to have no enemies, until you realize that you are part of a community and that your success is dependant in part on the success of your fellow man and the best road to prosparity is one that is shared. The dollar is not God and doing anything for a buck was not what the founding fathers envisioned. There is nothing free about the Republican platform, it's about the control of the masses by the wealthy for their own self interests and nothing more. Shame how the people are led around as if they had rings in their noses.

The Boston tea party was for paying taxes but getting no government that represents the people. Sounds like the last few years. It was not an excuse to not pay taxes to run your institutions. Why can't citizens and corporations pay their fair share and have infrastructure that servers all the people well, heathcare being just one part like the roads, public buildings, police stations, libraries, court rooms and the military. Last I heard these were not left wing concepts and neither is public healthcare. I've been sick once or twice and I know how easy it would be to be taken advantage of. Your system is terrible and a testimony how uninformed the masses are or worse brainwashed into beleiveing they don't deserve it or it's a leftist concept and unamerican. Healthcare won't bankrupt your economy but once again republicans stepping the necks of they fellow may have managed to hold you back from joining the rest of the civilized world. Shame.

Hopefully Oboma can help the us turn the corner on all the idiotic republican policies and after a few years it will be forgotten and and this ultra right brainwashing is recognized for what it is - the very wealty interests stepping on the necks on their fellow man and beating the freedom drum so you lay down for them to do it to you. Shame.

It's my opinion after Bush was elected the second time that a significant proportion of the American masses are dump as a bad of hammers and easily brainwashed, just make the public frieightened. Why catch Ben Ladan, politically he's very valuable every time the war machine needs juice. The entire world looking for one man and he can't be found. Shame and frankly as obvious as the state sanction poisoning of Arofat. Shame.

An talk about conflict of interests, oil at 140 while daddy owns most of Exxon, who have had quarterly earnings that exceed many countries GDP. How can a single brow moron get to be president. Or how about Chainey and all is buddies who did very nicely with no bid contracts in IRAC a war who's reasons were fabricated. Moron's installed by their fathers and gangsters, ripping off the public purse, a bunch of unscrupulous good old boys. Yet we never saw campaigns like the Republicans wage one Oboma or Clinton.

Oboma needs to work quick to cut the cancer out of the US before the republican brainwashing kick in. Public healthcare is needed and it works in the rest of the G20 nations just fine. He needs to ensure a dual energy posture, where electric and alternative energy solutions are as successful as Germany solar program have been. An finally in the national interests maybe we'll see an electric car and start seem some of the other technologies that often seems surpressed or inappropriately neglected at the expense of the national interest.

Another thing that needs to happen are some stricter laws about fair reporting. I can't beleive some of your TV stations like FOX and CNBC. It's offensive to see, it's anti democratic and anti-american. You should defend your freedom and demand better and ensure your media is not filled with propaganda. Propaganda is effective, look how far the nazi's got thanks largely to propaganda. These jerks and their editorial staff need some parameters because they are out of control and in light of a perfect execution Oboma anns his team, pasting the economy together, the republicians should respected their president and the democratic process but unfortunately gangsters always want it all their way. It's a realy shame and a failure of the your democracy that this is accepted as the best you can do for yourselfs. Even the Cubans have healthcare.

You've got great leadership now. It's about time there was a little focus on nation building once again, the world was beginning to think the US has become hopelessly hollow would be socially backward where all the important decisions are being made by the wealthy who have all the resources to press all the right buttons. The constitution was not a decloration of commerce for the ultra rich but rather freedom for the people. The people made their decisions and the Repulican's should shut up and help the nation move forward for the greater good. But they are perphaps victims of their own progranda and dogma. The republican brand is crap, their dogama is crap.

As for Oboma a Muslim, I couldn't care less ... how or even if he worships and I don't care if he's black, white or even jewish. I do care that he is a strong enough leader able to tackle the rather long lists of social ills and inexplicable gaps that threaten to undermine the quality of life in the US.

It's funny though, Clinton may have screwed Lawinsky, but Bush screwed the country! Wasn't that interesting, how the republicans worked on the Clintons, if it wasn't whitewater, it was a social indescression. For what. So that they could disable the president and that's why you don't have healthcare now. We watch this is complete amazement how a branch of the judical system became a Republican tool to manipulate policy. Shame and a failure in the management of your democracy.

Oboma is a breath of fresh air, I hope he doesn't get he JK treatement or the Clinton treatment. If you value your democracy then you have to start asking the tough questions. Lights have to be shined on all the dark republican secrets and the seats of power need to be in the government rather then private interests. Global corporations only care about profit and the national interest is not relavent. I want my elected officials to respect my vote and address the issues relevant to me, my livelyhood, my neighbourhoods and schools and that things that make this a great place to live. Rather then some international corporation who in all likelyhood doesn't even pay their fair share of taxes. Shame.
