what's the big deal in Obama being a muslim.

Reader comment on item: Was Barack Obama a Muslim?

Submitted by BEA SMITH (Philippines), Jul 4, 2008 at 07:51

I don't really understand why Obama being a muslim suddenly a big issue today. Barrack Obama is NOT a MUSLIM period. Because if he is, he would say it out loud. All human beings are born muslims. It is their parents that make them into christian or whatever religion they have. A true muslim would never ever conceal his religion, because that's one of great sins in Islam. So why ponder so much on Obama's religion? Maybe Republicans are so afraid that Democrats will win through Obama that they are now making these irrational issues about him.
