i have heard a ton of people calling obama a muslim. ok, he has a traditional muslim name. i will give them all that much. however... the one question no one has asked... is... was he baptized christian? a convert has to do certain things for the church to be able to be baptized. now you all are asking, but why does that matter? EXACTLY!!!!! it doesnt matter one iota. neither does the mans religion. in the post 9-11 years everyone is so afraid of people that appear muslim. "ohhh hes gonna go blow something up" im raising the BS flag on the religious right. and the conservatives. a child doesnt really understand the full ramafications of a religion. most adults dont fully understand their religion. i am a baptized and confirmed roman catholic. i wasnt given a choice at a young age what religion i was given. i was baptized catholic right after birth.. and confirmed 4 years later. i didnt have a choice at all. i do not practice catholicism, nor do i practice any religion. i believe in God, and that he is all powerful.

does it really matter what anyone's religion is? our great nation was created on the basis of religious freedoms. why tear up the beliefs that formed this nation over someone with a non american name.

red, white, black, yellow, brown... no matter what your color or belief... an american is just that... AN AMERICAN. get over yourselves and get over your fears. it is time for something new. mccain spent time in vietnam prison camps... broke the code of conduct by denouncing his country and praising his captors. me also being in the navy, if i did that i would get shot when i got home for breaking the code of conduct... HE GOT PROMOTED!!!!! he turncoated to save his own butt. that is NOT someone i want in office as my boss and commander in chief.
