Revelation of candidate Obama's misrepresentations

Reader comment on item: Was Barack Obama a Muslim?

Submitted by Dr. Howard Garber (United States), Dec 26, 2007 at 03:25

This apparently documented information re the biographical Muslim background of presidential candidate Barack Hussein Obama reported Muslim background raises many other very important questions and issues.

(1) Why have the media, governmental and political investigators, etc. failed to reveal this important information? If anyone's backgound should be thoroughly and meticulously scrutinized, it should be candidates for the US presidency -- especially when we are today faced with the menace of fanatical, global, Islamic terrorism! Is this not alone a very important issue? And, is it not also done for US senatorial candidates?

2) If this belated information is fully corroborated, what must Americans conclude re the past related misrepresentations by presidential candidate Obama, and his veracity, credibility and character? I recall when presidential candidate George MacGovern's VP selection was found to have a hidden history of psychiatric problems. He was promptly dropped from the ticket.

3) Americans must now demand complete and thorough details re Obama's reported Muslim background, and if verified, demand he drop out of the presidential race.
