Obama's knows this and has (concocted?) a defense under sharia law

The answer is quite possibly yes, and that's why Obama is careful to claim that his father was an atheist.

(and that his mother was very spiritual but never followed one religion)

The son of Moslem is always considered to be born a Moslem, but apaprently sharia law does not carry that forward another generation.
