Once elected, Muslims will try to convert Obama to Islam like no religious crusade we have ever seen before

Reader comment on item: Was Barack Obama a Muslim?

Submitted by Dan (United States), Apr 23, 2008 at 01:43

Once Obama is elected, Muslims around the world will have one focus - to get Obama to believe, if he doesn't already, that he is Muslim, and has a duty to islam above all else. Many will even try to convince Obama that he is the twelfth imam.

Imagine the pressure on a young, inexperienced person of questionable character and influenceability, (Wright etc.) when millions of Muslims around the world start praising him as the messiah, start praying towards him instead of mecca, start sacrificing themselves, literally jumping off buildings etc just to send him a message (that he is the messiah) and have the opportunity to die in his presence.

The way he so quickly rose to power, Obama may actually believe he is the 12th Imam, the messiah.

I wonder if news media would ever ask him a tough question, like what he thinks of this.
