Was Obama a muslem?

Reader comment on item: Was Barack Obama a Muslim?
in response to reader comment: Barak O'Bama's Religious background

Submitted by Haruna Kelly (Ghana), Nov 21, 2008 at 10:17

The most important thing I think is, he ever being a muslim. And is something that I liked about Obama, why? I was born a moslem, but upon growing up I joined Christianity. At a point my parents were at logger heads but understood each other that I was only a child and that they should watch me grow.

But the good news is that, I have completed senior high school; and learned how to read the Qur,an when I was in Junior high School at age 12. I,m now fully fledged in Islam without any intervention from my parents.
So whether Obama ever practiced Islam or not I see him a staunch Christian upon his present position.
At least we moslems should not fight but leave him alone carry out his administrative work.

The question really is how many US presidents ever related to Islam in any way. May be the next president may be one who knows.
'A LAWYER WILL DO ANYTHING TO WIN HIS CASE, SOMETIMES HE MIGHT EVEN TELL THE TRUTH.'

So let us leave him alone when his term is over he may reclaim his Islamic identity.
