Reader comment on item: Was Barack Obama a Muslim?
in response to reader comment: Nonsense

I live in Pakistan and had to evacuate on the 29th when it was considered safe for a Westerner (infidel) to get to airport after Bhutto's assassination. (I had to make a quick run to Thailand just so I could go out shopping for some food!.

) I just got back last night, welcomed in Lahore by a suicide bomb that killed 23 people less than two miles from my house. No surprise to anyone; just another day in an Islamic country. In this morning's paper there isn't just suicide bombings in the local news, but honor killings, kidnappings for ransom (a legitimate business here in Lahore), acid thrown in the face of a mother and daughter for a rejected marriage proposal, and threats to a co-ed school. That's just today.

And as is with everything here, it's all tinted with Islam and Islamists. Tomorrow could be worse and no one would be surprised.

Previous to this assignment I lived and worked in Kuwait and Egypt, and also Thailand and China and India. I'm very familiar with Egypt's Islamic Brotherhood and Kuwait's Salafi extremists and the Wahabis all over the Muslim world, even in Indonesia and Malaysia (other countries I have also visited), and with the general Muslims' attitudes towards Christians and Buddhists and Hindis and Seikhs.

Yea..."peace" my a*#. My passport pages fill up to the max every couple of years. I can compare Islamic culture with Buddhist and Hindi and Christian and Seikh as well as anyone. I appreciate them all - except Islam. I hate Islam. I've been around it and lived in it. Don't tell me Islam is a religion of peace. That's PC bull stuff. I deal with the realities of the world and take people and their cultures for what they are and how they actually think and behave. Islam is a religion of violence, a cult of death, followed by people who worship a supposed prophet who made his living by raiding caravans of traders and murdering the resisters, before he inspired a religion to be spread by the sword and to drown all others in their own blood. Peaceful to those who think and believe exactly as Mohammed and the Qur'an - otherwise, watch your back. Who do you think you're talking to?

Do you think I just stepped onto the Golden Gate Bridge and have hit as far as I can go. Try to convince anyone else with your "religion of peace" spiel, it's not going to work with me; I know the truth from experience and living in it and being surrounded by it - and studying that book. And next time you try to whip your "peaceful religion" BS on me I'll put you up against a wall with dozens of examples of what that book actually says and the hadiths and examples of your prophets violent life so that you understand why it is that although all Muslims are not terrorists, nearly all terrorists are Muslims, besides being chauvinists, non-inquirers, closed minded, wife beaters, and dozens of other unpleasant and dangerous things. I understand that if you're a Muslim you may be a nice guy and you're stuck in your death cult without a way to get out and so you look at the decent ones among you and try to call your religion peaceful.

One problem: It's not true. And the whole world is now waking up to this fact.
