I am a white agnostic. What is wrong with people today?

Reader comment on item: Was Barack Obama a Muslim?

I am a white, open minded American. My family is christian but I was raised open minded. I have come to my own conclusion that I will never be 100% sure if there is a god or not. That makes me agnostic. I am a true American, I served 8 years in the military, 2 tours in Kuwait and one in Iraq.

I support Barack because I believe that he is the best choice for America. I am sickened constantly by the accusations of racism and muslim accusations towards Barack. I am a strong believer in personal choice and freedom of expression. But, I feel personally that everyone who calls Obama a racist and Muslim is searching for excuses to not like him and to project their own feeling of racism and anti-muslim sentiment on him.

Hillary and McCain represent old, dirty politics. Clinton herself owes more favors than anyone I have ever met. As a young Intellegent American I take pleasure in choosing Obama as the best choice for America. Choose who you want, that is what I fought for, your right to choose. But be responsible, don't accuse someone (Barack) of being racist when you are not sure or have no proof than some stupid reference to a pastor he knows. Those silly assumptions got Bush elected. I am not stupid or disillusioned, I like Obama because he, in my extensive opinion on human beings, is the best choice for President.
