Obama Hussein Barak's Moslim origins

Reader comment on item: Was Barack Obama a Muslim?

Submitted by Eli Bar-Hai (United States), Dec 24, 2007 at 11:32

I have read that Obama's step-father LuLu Soetoro enrolled him either in a Muslim school or as a Muslim in a mixed school but that in either case the Muslim type of education was Wahabbi from Saudi Arabia.

Also, it is reported that his mother was a white Christian atheist. If she was either Christian or atheist how could she marry not one, but two Moslem men? That seems to be a pretty strong pattern. And these were not American "moderate" Moslems but third world Moslems from Kenya and Indonesia? It would appear that there was a strong family attraction and identification with Islam certainly in Obama's early life.

How much of his current religious affiliation is true belief and how much political expediency? And could it be possible that Obama is the ultimate sleeper cell planted by the Jihad in America?
