Interesting; but not really

Reader comment on item: Was Barack Obama a Muslim?

Surfacely your article raises some interesting points. But the boilerplate is the point you raised at the end. The possibility of Obama's blood being spilt while he is President will have virtually nothing to do with fanatic Muslims and almost everything to do with the Secret Service and the Intelligence services. The whole thing is a distraction.

From my own point of view his childhood Muslim associations constitute a marginal plus compared to the other candidates from the Democratic Party. His real strength lies in his character and in his intelligence. With regard to character, only Senator McCain can compare. With regard to intelligence he is in a class by himself compared with all the other candidates, Republican or Democratic.
