People fear what they don't know!

Reader comment on item: Was Barack Obama a Muslim?

Submitted by Amazing! (United States), Jul 15, 2008 at 13:10

There seems to be some intelligent people posting on this forum, but, for the most part there are a lot of brainwashed, out of it, fear stricken people. In reading most of these posts it's so clear how easy it is to manipulate some of you folks.

Folks here come off sounding as if Barak Obama is going to become president and through pressure or other nefarious means "turn" the U.S. or sell out the U.S. to Muslim powers. Wow, all this without Congress/The Senate/The American People having any say huh?

People, get a life and quit pieceing bits and pieces of various posts on the internet into fearbased conspiracy theories. What Americans should be wary of are "Radical Muslims" NOT all Muslims. While so many here are busy demonizing Muslims and Barak Obama they seem to have forgotton Christianity's own crimes and blood soaked past.

People seem to want someone who is perfectly groomed to run for the presidency, the seemingly perfect candidate. This isn't a frat house election, stick to the issues and leave out the nonesense.
