Reader comment on item: Was Barack Obama a Muslim?
in response to reader comment: Why is it so hard to understand that Islam is not just a religion?

Submitted by Judy (United States), Dec 4, 2008 at 14:32

I don't remember saying any thing about Islam(?) however I did ask the question is buddhism a religion or a way of life(?) I feel that as young children we do not know the difference between religions or too much about any thing for that matter;where ever the pack went I followed. Thank you for your strong input.

I do feel that no matter who or how Obama was raised he knows right from wrong and I am quite sure he will do what he feels is right for that moment. As children our adult people/mentors were only guide lines as to what we needed to do in the future,no matter what is said about Obama he has made the best start ever in his life,so therefore I do feel he will do the best he can with his election years,Obama has a lot on his plate and much to contend with. What difference does it make what religion Obama is? I'm not of any one religion and respect every one's choice,at the present moment I like/understand buddhism I put me in the proper perspective of where I like to be in my head. The world is moving too fast and I can't run.

Much reguards;Peace
