That's not the point. In fact, I am not Muslim, and I do not believe the Qur'an is the final word, and in fact neither do most Muslims, as there are (typically) four ways to come to a decision on matter of religious law that include Qur'an, hadith, 'ijma (consensus), and qiyas (analogical reasoning). But of course you don't know this do to your lack of knowledge on Islam. I suggest a simple book on it, Islam by Fazlur Rahman, maybe you'll learn something.

Anyway, I was just pointing something out that was slightly ironic to demonstrate that it doesn't matter. It's funny that you talk of understanding and tolerance, but predict that Islam is just something that will remain on the "outer fringe". Practice what you preach. You do know it's the 2nd largest religion on the planet? OH NO!!
