Peaceloving muslims?

Reader comment on item: Was Barack Obama a Muslim?
in response to reader comment: why does it matter,?

Submitted by Teresa Doyle (United States), Nov 3, 2008 at 11:47

Have any of you read the Koran? The muslim "bible" speaks of attacking and awaking a sleeping eagle. Of course that would be the U.S. . Almost EVERY single terrorist attack that has been perpetrated against our country at home or abroad, were perpetrated by MUSLIMS. This makes me fearful of putting a MUSLIM in office. If it were really ugly, mean old ladies who had perpetrated the attacks, I would not vote for them to become our president either.

When I was young, my mother would say to me, " You are known by the company you keep!" If you hang out with thieves, you are perceived as one.

Ultimately, God is going to put in office (maybe even Obama) whomever will fulfill the prophecy written in THE BIBLE. Scripture says we are to pray for our leaders, no matter who they are. If Obama becomes president, God will have acheived one of His goals; a great deal more praying will me going on!
