Barak O'Bama's Religious background

Reader comment on item: Was Barack Obama a Muslim?
in response to reader comment: OBAMA IS OUR MUSLIM BROTHER

What is the big deal? He is not and never has been a Muslim. We all know that when WE are young our parents have control over our lives until we are grown and out of the house. He was registered as a Muslim by his parent in the school in Indonesia, and it is what it is.

As another person commented, GET OVER IT!!! He believes in GOD and that is all that matters because of this lame thinking country, we should embrace a president elect that has a strong religious background so that the entire world can be prayed over. Look at the wedding pictures at Rev. Wrights/Trinity! This should be enough to prove that he is a CHRISTIAN.

I am glad that he has ties to both religions because from touring alot of overseas countries, AMERICA is hated and considered very cocky, and I will embrace a man that will get AMERICA its respect whether its by his hertiage or religious background ties.

Please, find something more to focus on instead of what his religion is.
