Reader comment on item: The Evil Isn't Islam
in response to reader comment: Open Heart

My Dear John
I think if you really look at this issue with an open heart you will see that it is not the Muslims since the beginnings of time who have tried to force their views and societies on others, it is the West that feels its culture and ways of life are superior and that their ways should taught or forced onto others. This is the start of the conflict. Colonialism, Imperialism, Darwinism.

-I will refer to a quote by Samuel P. Huntington, a Harvard Professor. He said, "The underlying problem for the West is not Islamic Fundamentalism. It is Islam, a different civilization whose people are convinced of the superiority of their culture and are obsessed with the inferiority of their power. The problem for Islam is not CIA or the US. Department of Defense. It is the West, a different civilization whose people are convinced of the universality of their culture and believe that their superior, if declining, power imposes on them the obligation to impose that culture throughout the world. These are the basic ingredients that fuel conflict between the East and the West."

-The point, Muslims want to be govered by Muslims. The laws of Muslims are Divine, from God; not what President so and so says,.. . People make mistakes and until we return to the rules of God(ie Jews, Muslims and Christians) the fight will not end.
-We live in a world of blind followers. Those who follow what ever feels right at that moment in time. Forget for one moment about all this terrorism in the world and really examine religion. God is not changing and his rules don't change. Fornication is wrong, murdering is wrong, lying is wrong, cheating is wrong, raping is wrong, and so many other things. God will jugde each of us. This life is short, focus on a final goal. To go to Heaven.
