Reader comment on item: The Evil Isn't Islam
in response to reader comment: ISLAM IS THE TRUE VICTIM OF TERRORISM

One of the things that has been very interesting to me is the fact that there appears to be a mass exodus out of Islam into Christianity. Hundreds and thousands of those who have been living under Islam are moving away from it. In these cases they see the problems that they face attempting to justify remaining a Muslim in the face of the great difference in what is said and what the people actually live.

In my mind these are those who are moderate and do not want to continue to live under such an influence as Islam. I am sure that with time and the freedom to choose that this ground swell will continue to grow. Some of the Imams have commented about this exodus that is taking place and are, of course, worried about its influence on other people of Islam.

Is it any wonder that in Islam no one is allowed to teach a different form of religion. The vast difference between what is said and what is actually happening in the world is clear enough that they recognize the difference and no longer want any part of it. In many countries the exodus is growing so fast that the Imams recognize that they cannot kill everyone who has left Islam and are worried about the results. There are site after site containing the testimonies of those who have left Islam.
